Deep down, 14-year-old Caitlin Seeger is a really good kid, but years of growing up in a foster home and protecting herself from early disappointments have made her hard-nosed, defensive and independent. A new start in rural Montana with her distant cousins might be the remedy for her years of hard knocks, but the adjustment is going to take time.
